Both CCHF and brucellosis are endemic in Pakistan but surveillance, prevention and control programs are seriously hampered by a lack of empirical information about the occurrence and distribution of these zoonoses. This study involves a cross-sectional prevalence survey of both diseases and a spatio-temporal analysis of primary (i.e. not nosocomial) cases of CCHF in 2 districts in Pakistan.
